wHO IS WHO!
We are extremely grateful for the time and support our ambassadors provide, helping to develop and spread awareness of the charity. Each and every ambassador has played an active role in one of the BEEP programmes and so understands first hand how important the work of Beep is when it comes to young peoples futures.
Introducing our team of ambassadors
BEEP Ambassador and REEP Mentor “I became involved in REEP through Astley Media’s generous in-kind PR support of REEP. Intrigued by REEP, I volunteered for mentor training and once completed was partnered with Aaron. As a trusted person I provide continuity, some very practical support and more importantly the time to mentor him. It isn’t only Aaron that has been on a journey, I have too. I’ve learnt more about young people and the challenges they face, used my mentoring skills at work and more widely, and become a champion for BEEP”.
Exeter City Council
“I was involved in REEP before the start! I wanted Exeter City Council’s Rugby World Cup 2015 Legacy Funded used for a really worthwhile project which would have lasting legacy. The possibility of REEP project working with the Exeter & Heart of Devon Employment & Skills Board, captured my imagination and heart from the outset. The Young People involved have inspired me with their determination to overcome challenges and move forward. I am a BEEP Ambassador so that more Young People to benefit from this life-changing opportunity.”
BEEP Ambassador & REEP Mentor “I have found huge value in being part of REEP and now BEEP. Being a mentor comes with huge responsibility as it means that you can affect a person’s life for the good and it may mean that your mentee could hopefully go on to affect people themselves, creating a ripple effect of guidance and help. I also work in partnership with BEEP supporting the charity through the Exe Factor
“It is fantastic to see the way that BEEP has grown from the first small pilot project and amazing impact that it has had on the young people involved, as well as their mentors. BEEP has captured support of so many businesses and individuals, all committed to helping our young people to change their own lives. I am proud to support BEEP and continue to be impressed by the passion, energy and commitment of those involved.”
Exeter PA Network
“I am thrilled to be a BEEP Ambassador. I heard about the charity through my Exeter PA Network group. I have witnessed first hand the inspiring stories of how young people’s lives have been dramatically changed for the better. It is amazing how such a small investment in young peoples lives makes such a huge impact”
“I have found providing guidance and support to the young people within our local community to be an extremely humbling experience. The values entrenched within the rugby environment – passion, determination, self-belief and commitment – are echoed in BEEP. With just a bit of help, it is truly remarkable what these individuals can achieve.”
“BEEP makes a massive difference to the lives of local young people. It is a huge pleasure for me to promote BEEP and to hear about the progress of individual young people who are now Apprentices, valued employees and positive role models for members of the community”
“I have really enjoyed being a part of BEEP and to have seen at first hand the difference it makes to young people’s lives. We all have to overcome adversity at some time in our life and this programme is teaching young people that there is no such thing as failure, determination and hard work will reap rewards and lead to success”
As a founder of Mini’s Academy; an award winning, children’s legacy of RWC2015, I’m honoured to be representing my co-legacy partners; BEEP, as an Ambassador. The life changing work being carried out by the charity, in empowering young adults with a sense of belief and purpose, falls hand in hand with my own deep rooted passion for adding value to young lives.
I believe, without a doubt, that there is a spark of magic within everyone of us and that with the right mentors and support, we are all capable of remarkable achievements. Ensuring that the games values, passion & drive extend beyond the try lines, into the lives of these young people, will remain a priority for me.
Deer Park Hotel
I am extremely proud to be associated with such a worth charity, giving people who have fallen on hard times an opportunity to get their lives back on track is someone all of us should do. The program gives individuals a fantastic chance to be mentored and coached back in to the work place and to find a career that they can be successful in. What a great thing to be a part of.
Being a professional sportsmen puts us in the public spotlight. This gives us a massive opportunity to make a difference in our communities. Working with BEEP is an exciting way to make sure that the people that need a helping hand get the confidence to achieve their goals. We all come from different walks of life and being able to share our stories of success and failure together, goes a long way in building self-belief and determination
